Our Chapter

On September 3, 2005, Vashti Grimes Pullen Chapter #UD was established with 29 members on roll, 14 sisters and 5 brothers. Three sisters demitted from other chapters in the Atlanta District and were appointed by the Grand Worthy Matron Vashti Grimes Pullen, for whom the Chapter was humbly named. Sister Celina Bostic was appointed Worthy Matron and Brother Bernard Bethea was appointed Worthy Patron. On September 10, 2006 during Prince Hall Day in Columbus, GA, the chapter was presented with its charter and was given the number 586.

 

Vashti Grimes Pullen Chapter, No. 586 holds its bi-monthly meeting on the 1^st and 3^rd Saturday of each month. In 2007, the chapter elected Sister Susan Gibson as Worthy Matron and Brother Marcus Cromartie as Worthy Patron
